In-Memory OLTP: Architecture, Implementation, and SQL Server 2016 enhancements

Summary: In-Memory OLTP is one of the key SQL Server technologies, which can significantly improve performance of OLTP systems. In-Memory OLTP in SQL Server 2016 comes with many enhancements that reduce technology limitations and improve its usability. This session talks about those enhancements, and provides the high level overview of In-Memory OLTP architecture and internal implementation. Finally, discusses how to benefit from the technology in the systems with mixed (OLTP + DW) workloads.
